GCS CARES Project: Granville County Public School Social Workers are excited to announce a new initiative launching in the 2026–2027 school year: the GCS CARES Project—an acronym for Clothing, Access, Resources, Essentials, and Supplies. This resource will offer students access to clothing, toiletries, cleaning supplies, and school supplies to help meet basic needs that can impact school attendance and success. If you become aware of a student who may benefit from this support, please refer them to your school social worker. The social worker will connect with the student and their family to assess needs and provide appropriate assistance. Each month, we will highlight specific donation needs. Contributions can be dropped off at your school’s front office, county office, given directly to your school social worker or you may drop off by CCM and Becky will get it delivered for you. Donation Schedule: May/June: Laundry supplies; July: Cleaning supplies; August: Shampoo and conditioner; September and beyond: To be announced. Social workers: Christy Currin, Sara Michaelsen, & Katie Thompson

Drop off your C.A.R.E.S. items by our C.A.R.E.S. Corner just inside the CCM donation door entrance!

Bread giveaway was a wonderful success! Many thanks to ACIM for providing the bread and by doing so, blessing our customers plus anyone else who came along. Many thanks to Anna and Ashley for cheerfully distributing the breads!

Bread from all but 7 trays found a home. What was leftover was taken by one of my volunteers and delivered to folks in need in her community. We thank God and give Him the glory for all good things come from Him!
