I want to pick your brains and see if there is any interest locally for an informal music event where we invite local musicians to gather over refreshments at our fellowship hall to sing our praises and worship songs together. This would be an ecumenical gathering where all who love music and who love Jesus gather together to share talent and lift up the name of Jesus Christ! The event would welcome all types of music, and we could even include Karaoke. We'd have access to piano and you could bring your own instruments. The church would provide refreshments, and we'd open it to anyone who wants to attend to either listen or participate. It would be an opportunity to showcase the talent God has blessed you with and to minister to one another. There would be no cost because I envision this as an amazing ministry opportunity to our communities! And you could invite anyone you want. Please let me know if you're interested. If I get enough responses, I will propose the idea to our church and get this thing started! Thank you and God bless!
