We believe there is one creator God, who created the universe and everything in it. Yet we also believe that God exists in three forms: as Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. We believe God the Father created mankind in his image, because he desires to have a relationship with us. Yet he also gave us “free will,” so we can choose to return his love, or choose to reject it. We believe we are all sinners
by nature. None of us is perfect and we are all capable of “messing up” and making bad choices. We believe because we are not able to redeem ourselves, God came to earth in human form as the Son, Jesus, to take on our sin and punishment through dying on a cross, so that we could be reconciled with God. We believe by rising into Heaven, Jesus conquered death and made it possible for all of us to join him in eternal life, if we simply chose to accept His free gift of salvation. We believe after Jesus' life on earth came to an end, He sent the Holy Spirit to us, to awaken us to God’s will for our life and to enable us to live obediently. We believe through the directing of the Holy Spirit, we are to serve as God’s hands and feet here on earth, bringing hope and light into all the dark places of the world.
