Hello all,
With a thankful heart we want to write you all and let you know that after much prayer, Sara and I have chosen to end Edge Missions. We believe that God wills life & death into each ministry and now is the time for Edge Missions to be put to rest. With your help Edge Missions has served youth in our community for over 11 years. Thousands of “seeds” have been planted to the Glory of God and one day Jesus will reap that harvest. Family legacies have been changed and God has redeemed generations through this ministry. Sara and I are so thankful that we were able to labor with you all over these years. Your time, effort, and treasures that were sacrificed to make this ministry happen have blessed us. We are humbled by your love & friendship.
With that being said, Sara & I will continue to minister to youth – we just believe the model in which that should be done has changed. We believe that God is calling our family onto another adventure within church ministry, one that will be multi-generational. We are seeking God for His direction – we know it will be great – we just don’t know what it will look like just yet.
We plan on still ministering to the teens of our home church (Connection Church). We will still continue our annual trips to Virginia and other smaller youth events. We have a small but wonderful & dynamic group of kids that have captured our hearts (like every generation has) and we plan to continue to minister to them.
With any “death” there is a moment of grieving. We personally find ourselves in this place right now, BUT we believe this is God’s Will and we are also very excited for what He has in store for our future.
Thank you all again for your love & time. Life is so much bigger than ministry – We are glad we get to share it all with you.
Now, onto the next!
