CoG7 RESOURCES

The General Conference is committed to the success of its member churches and understands that local congregations are where the real work happens. Part of that commitment is providing easy access to documentation and expectations for member churches.

Here you can find our church manual, membership application, and reports from the GC and its Ministries.

Take the time to learn about and use our resources at https://cog7.org/church-resources/.

PRAY FOR THE PHILIPPINES

Please join us in praying for the people of the Philippines following a devastating 7.8-magnitude earthquake that struck near the island of Mindanao on June 8. Reports indicate that at least 35 lives have been lost, more than 130 people have been injured, and thousands of families have been displaced from their homes. Communities have suffered significant damage from collapsed buildings, landslides, and other effects of this natural disaster.

Up to this point, there are no reports that our brethren were lost during the earthquake. Let us pray for God's comfort and peace to rest upon those who are grieving the loss of loved ones, for healing of the injured, and for protection and provision for families who have been forced to leave their homes. Pray also for emergency responders, medical personnel, government officials, and relief organizations as they work tirelessly to bring aid and assistance to those affected.

May the Lord strengthen His church in the region to be a source of hope, compassion, and practical support during this difficult time. Let us ask God to provide safety, restoration, and encouragement for all who are facing the challenges brought by this disaster.

“𝐌𝐫. 𝐎𝐧𝐞 𝐃𝐚𝐲 𝐋𝐚𝐭𝐞”

One day, everyone will die, unless the return of Jesus Christ happens before then.

Your name will be called… and before it, a new title will quietly be added.

Late.

Late father.
Late mother.
Late brother.
Late sister.
Late friend.
Late pastor.
Late neighbor.

And when that day comes, people will not only remember that you lived, they will remember how you lived.

Because life has a way of becoming memory.

The real question is not whether you will be called "late" one day.
The question is: what will you leave behind when that title is added to your name?

What legacy will speak for you in your absence?

Will your family remember you as a source of love, direction, and peace… or as someone who was always present but never truly there?

Will your friends recall encouragement you gave them, or wounds you never took time to heal?

Will your church say your life strengthened the body of Christ, or that you only occupied space without impact?

Will your society feel the weight of your contribution, or the silence of a life that never poured out what God placed inside it?

And when you finally stand before your Creator, because that meeting is certain—what will you present?

Not your titles, not your possessions and not your achievements.

But your life, your choices, your obedience, your love and your faithfulness.

Scripture reminds us that we are "sojourners," passing through (1 Peter 2:11-12; 1 Chronicles 29:15). That means every day is a building block of eternity, and every moment is shaping the story you will be remembered by.

So be careful how you live.
Be watchful.
Be ready.
Because each of us shall surely give account of ourselves to our Maker.

Live in such a way that when your name is spoken with the word "Late," it carries light, not regret. Meaning, not emptiness. Testimony, not silence.

Because one day, it will be said of us all.

But what will be said about you?

The arms of Jesus Christ are still open for you. If you choose to accept Him today, He is ready to give you a new beginning and a restored life.

The witness of Mary and Elizabeth for the unborn. by Kelsey Gjesdal My heart pounded as I stood on the sidewalk, holding a laminated sign. It was sprinkling, and my fingers were cold. I felt so out of place. I looked over at my sister. Her eyes were closed in silent prayer. She felt none […]
