None of us knows the second date on our tombstone. Or how much time we have left. Or how others in our lives will respond. But doesn't that make it all the more important that we're discovering how, and committing ourselves, to finishing well?

This week, we begin our very last sermon series in the Gospel of Matthew that we've been working through this year, a series that will undoubtedly help us answer: Am I living in such a way that I'm genuinely prepared for eternity, or are there steps I need to take to more fully surrender to the Lord all of my "lasts"?

Together, let's determine to learn about and follow in the only Footsteps that matter, knowing so many are watching us - for better or worse. See you soon, friend!

One of the most helpful tools for us is to consistently sit down in a still, quiet space and ask, "Where does my help come from?"

This week, we spend a few intimate minutes with one of the more well-known passages in the Old Testament Book of Psalms. As our culture gets noisier, busier and darker, it's all the more imperative that followers of Jesus and church families remind themselves: if the Lord has made heaven and earth, then He can handle our heads, hearts and lives perfectly well.

So let's lift a friend. Let's lift a neighbor or coworker. Let's lift a complete stranger. Let's be lifted by another. Let's ultimately be lifted by our help.

A Christian shouldn't irreverently approach, demand of and be insincere and prideful before Jesus... right?
We finish our sermon series this week, To Be Kingdom-Sustained Well, with one of the hardest lessons the Twelve learned with Jesus, one we're still learning today.
If there has ever been a time to prioritize the values of humility and an others-focus, now is it. What impact could our attitudes and lives have if we served? See you soon, friend!

Think of the person who's as immoral as we might think... Or they can't seem to hold a stable job... Or they cater to whichever cultural or political group is trending nowadays... Or they seek one more dollar, possession and safety net... Is it possible that such people could give their lives to Christ?

We continue in our sermon series this week, To Be Kingdom-Sustained Well. For the Church to not just survive - but thrive - it's vitally important that every last person and opportunity is utilized for people to find and follow Jesus, then themselves lead others to do the same. Isn't our heavenly experience to come worth our earthly mission now?

Of course it is! So who in our lives needs to hear from us? Who needs to be truthfully and tenderly reminded that we don't know when we'll give our last breath or when Jesus will return? Who needs to be convictingly and compassionately led to us a decision point about surrendering their lives to Him? Let's wait no longer...

Sometimes, the most excruciating experience in a relationship becomes the hardest lesson learned in life. And yet, it could help us understand the incredible love of our Father better than a life of comfort and safety ever could.
We continue in our series this week, To Be Kingdom-Sustained Well. And to be sure, there are fewer truths from Scripture that are more difficult to hear and apply to our lives than how the Lord will walk with us through this week.
But aren't relational transformation and growth worth it? Aren't people worth it? Isn't their and our Creator worth it? Indeed He is! Let's give ourselves fully to the redemptive work only He can do.
