Ladies, The Wellspring IS BACK!

Join us next Friday, June 26th at 6PM for a special evening of renewal—a time to slow down, be refreshed, and be poured into as we share a meal, open our hearts, worship together, and learn from God’s Word!

At The Wellspring, we are nurturing, strengthening, and equipping women to live out their God-given calling. Just as a wellspring overflows with life-giving water, we seek to be filled with God’s truth so that our lives may flourish in Him. Through biblical teaching, worship, and authentic community, we’re cultivating hearts that are deeply rooted in Christ—knowing that everything we do flows from Him.

In a world that drains and distracts, The Wellspring is a place of spiritual renewal—where women are encouraged, challenged, and refreshed in their faith. Together, we grow in godly character, strengthen one another through accountability, and embrace our identity in Christ, bringing His love and truth into every sphere of our lives.

Why did God save you?

Most Christians can answer what they've been saved from. We've been saved from sin, judgment, and death through the finished work of Jesus Christ. But far fewer Christians have stopped to consider what they've been saved for! Is salvation simply about going to heaven one day, or does God have a greater purpose for His people right now?

In Ephesians 3, the Apostle Paul begins a prayer but suddenly gets sidetracked by the wonder of the gospel. What follows is a powerful reminder that God's plan for His people is bigger, richer, and more beautiful than many of us realize. Join us as we discover the purpose behind our salvation and the role God has called us to play in His story!

The Foundry is where men come together to be refined, strengthened, and shaped for the mission of God. Just like metal is forged in fire, God uses community, truth, and brotherhood to form us into the men He has called us to be.

In a world marked by compromise, confusion, and constant pressure, God calls men to stand firm. This quarter at The Foundry, we'll be challenged to remain steadfast in our convictions, courageous in our witness, and faithful to Christ no matter what comes our way. Through biblical teaching, worship, and brotherhood, we'll learn what it means to stand firm in the faith and live as men who are anchored in the truth of God's Word.

Justin Meyer serves as a pastor at Convergent Church. He received his certification in Christian Apologetics from Southeastern Baptist Theological Seminary and is passionate about articulating the truth of Scripture and defending the gospel with wisdom and grace. Justin has committed his life to helping believers think biblically, grow spiritually, and stand firm in their faith.

Don Fields has served as Senior Pastor of Calvary Baptist Church for sixteen years. He earned his Bachelor of Arts in biblical studies from Faith Baptist Bible College and has continued his education through the diligent reading of both great books and not-so-great ones. Pastor Fields is passionate about training Christians to boldly engage every sphere of society in Shiawassee County with biblical truth.

🎡 Curwood Festival Weekend Update!

The Curwood Festival is in full swing in Downtown Owosso, which means there are a couple changes to be aware of for this Sunday's worship gathering!

Due to carnival rides set up in our lot, our parking lot will be closed, and you won’t be able to turn right onto Water St from M-21.

🚗 Please plan on arriving a few minutes early and parking in the lot on the north side of the Armory or anywhere along Exchange St, as shown on the map attached below! (Additional parking is also available at the parking lot to the north of the former Owosso Middle School)

How do we pursue unity in a world that’s so divided?

In a world fractured by politics, race, culture, personal conflict, and competing ideologies, true unity can feel impossible to find.

In Ephesians 2:11–22, the Apostle Paul points us to the only power capable of reconciling diverse people who would otherwise remain separated: the gospel of Jesus Christ!

In this message, Pastor Dan shows us how Jesus brings those who were far from God near through His blood, tears down the walls of hostility that divide us, and forms us into one family, one kingdom, and one dwelling place for God's presence.

If the gospel was powerful enough to unite Jews and Gentiles—one of the deepest divisions in history—then it is certainly powerful enough to bring healing, reconciliation, and hope to our divided world today!

Join us as we discover why the gospel isn't merely the hope for peace with God, but the only lasting foundation for peace with one another.

Looking for something fun to do tomorrow night? ☀️🎉

One of our Life Groups will have an inflatable going at The Armory from 5–8pm and we’d love for you to stop by! All kids ages 6–12 are welcome to come enjoy the bounce house activities and hang out with us for a fun evening together.

We’re also using this as an opportunity to bless Bella Women’s Center through a diaper drive! Bella’s serves women and families in our community by offering free and confidential pregnancy support services, including pregnancy testing, limited ultrasounds, options counseling, parenting support, adoption resources, and post-abortion healing care.

If you’d like to participate, bring a pack of diapers to donate as we come together to support local families in need. 💛

This past Sunday, we wrapped up two weeks of learning more about who we are as a church, what God has called us to, and the part each believer has to play in the body of Christ. We’re so thankful for every person who took this step and are excited to officially affirm our newest Church Partners on Sunday, June 21st!
