We are so very proud of our youth choir! They had their debut last week, and did an excellent job!

We will be having service tomorrow morning at the church, at 11am. Sunday school and evening services will be canceled. We are still unsure how the parking lot and sidewalk will be, so please continue to use caution, and your best judgement. We hope you are staying safe and warm with all this weather, and can't wait to be back to regular schedule! There are many exciting things coming this year!

Matthew 25:35-40

Beginning Nov. 1, 2025, the SNAP program will not be funded. In Bath County, there are 1,153 households that rely on SNAP. That is about 3,400 people. In response to this dire situation, the Bath County Ministerial Association has initiated a non-perishable food drive, and an emergency food fund has also been created for this kind of situation in the future. If you would like to donate food, please bring all non-perishable food items (no dented, rusty or expired foods) to Christian Social Services or Slate Valley Christian Church. Any monetary donations can be given to Gregg Whitt or Wendy Whitt, Jim Brandenburg, Marcelle Doggett, or Jan Carmen.

Whether it's been a week, a month, a year, or you've never been to Church before, invite your friends and family, and come hear about how loving and forgiving our heavenly Father is to all of us. Service begins at 10:45, Sunday school for all ages at 10:00. We can't wait to see you there!

Happy Easter, from the Slate Valley Christian Church!! We hope you enjoyed the day, celebrating the resurrection of our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ! In this selfless act, He demonstrated to us just how much He loves us, despite our sinful nature, as well as His omnipotent power by overcoming death (something no amount of human education or intelligence will ever be able to do). Not only should we be in awe of His love and power, but should also take comfort, knowing that the God that can overcome death and whose love knows no bounds, CAN and WILL take care of us and all of our struggles.
