🐸RAINFOREST FALLS VBS, Day 2!🌳 ️

Our VBS campers came back to continue their RAINFOREST adventure today! Everyone learned about glass frogs from our newest Bible Buddy, Seymour, and we learned that GOD KNOWS EVERYTHING (WOW, GOD!).

The kids worked in teams all day throughout our exciting stations, seeing examples of the many ways in which we can't know everything, but God does!🪨🔨💎 There is so much joy in the building as these precious children grow their friendships and learn more and more about Jesus each day!

Our Bible verse for Day 2:
“O Lord, you have examined my heart and know everything about me .” (Psalm 139:1)

While children here in Southern Maryland are experiencing the joy of VBS at Calvert Grace, God is moving in amazing ways through our team in El Salvador! WOW, GOD! 🌎

🦜Today, we began our vibrant adventure at RAINFOREST FALLS VBS! 🌿

Our group of more than 200(!) children and 100+ volunteers arrived today to see Calvert Grace transformed into a thriving rainforest! Everyone was greeted with joyful hearts and songs, and we learned that GOD IS OUR CREATOR (WOW, GOD!) Thank you to everyone who played a role, big or small, to get this week off to an exciting start!

Our Bible verse for Day 1:
“Praise the Lord, everything he has created, everything in all his kingdom.” (Psalm 103:22)

⚽We are also raising funds for soccer field equipment in the Ukraine! Our goal is to raise $1000 and share the joy of Jesus around the world! Children (and adults!) can contribute change all week, and it will be counted each day toward our Friday total! We can't wait for Day 2 tomorrow!

🌍Short-Term Missions Update🌍

Nathan arrived safely in Berlin, Germany, where he will spend the next month serving with our partners there, Luke and Jess Bury. The Burys are planting an international church in East Berlin where the effects of WWII and the Cold War are still prevalent. Please pray for the soil to soften and for God to make the right connections for them.

Nathan also said, “A praise so far was definitely getting to participate in their church. There are already ten different nationalities represented!” So awesome!

It is a privilege for us to be able to send our best to serve our partners globally.
