ABOUT THE BOOK OF 1 TIMOTHY:
Paul, who was in Rome when this letter was written in AD62-63, sent a letter to Timothy. Paul also sent letters to Titus and Philemon. The letters are referred to as pastoral epistles pertaining to governance. Paul considered Timothy his true son in faith, he took Timothy on his 3rd missionary voyage, and they loved each other deeply until Paul died.
MESSAGE:
Many individuals rejoice in your downfalls and tribulations because they do not understand what it means to be blessed; they try to hinder God’s many breakthroughs in your life.
The law Paul referred to in this scripture is not made for the righteous. The truth of the law is to point out to man his sinful nature. Those who think they are squeaky clean, and not sinners, should check out the law. Lawbreakers, rebels and the sinful would try to make you feel guilty about the law.
