If you are a task person, lists are helpful. They keep us on track and focused on what needs to get done and protect us from distractions.

Our culture is full of distractions, our heart is full of distractions, our minds are full of distractions, which is why this passage is so good!

If you need a list to work through today-keep this in mind from Psalm 37:3
1. Trust the Lord
2. Do good
3. Dwell in the land
4. Befriend faithfulness

Merry Christmas!🎄

Today, let’s pause from the wrapping paper, the meals, and the excitement to remember the miracle at the center of it all. 🎁

Jesus was born! On this day, heaven touched earth. Light stepped into darkness. Hope broke through the silence.

“The Word became flesh and made His dwelling among us.” John 1:14 ✝️

This is the heart of Christmas. The God who draws near, comes close, and loves us enough to enter our world so we could know Him, walk with Him, and be saved through Him.

Whether your day is full and joyful, or quiet and reflective, we pray you feel His presence right where you are. He is Immanuel — God with us — this truth changes everything. 🙌

From our church family to yours, we wish you a very Merry Christmas! May the hope of Jesus fill your home and your heart today. ❤️

Anticipation

Since Adam and Eve
disobeyed God and sinned,
our relationship with God was broken
and we’ve been separated from
Him.

God knew man could not follow
and obey all of His commands,
so He promised a Messiah
to be salvation for all man.

God spoke through His prophets
telling of The Messiah to be born.
Some of the prophecies were told
more than 700 years before.

“For unto us a Child is born, unto
us a Son is given;
And the government will be on His
shoulder,
And His name will be called
Wonderful, Counselor, Mighty God,
Everlasting Father, Prince of Peace
Isaiah 9:6

God’s perfect gift to us
Is Jesus Christ, God’s only Son.
He is the Messiah, our Savior
He is the Chosen One.

The anticipation of the prophets
was fulfilled on Christmas Day.
Our Savior was born
it’s Jesus birth we celebrate!

Merry Christmas, from Neighborhood Church!

As the new year approaches quickly, so does uncertainty and sometimes fear.

There’s so much anticipation for what's to come, and it can be super easy to forget who is leading us. 🙌

The King of Kings is our Father, and His love never ceases! There couldn't be a better place to put our worries and fears than in the One who created us.

“The steadfast love of the Lord never ceases; his mercies never come to an end; they are new every morning; great is your faithfulness. ‘The Lord is my portion,’ says my soul, ‘therefore I will hope in him.’ ” Lamentations 3:22-24 ✝️

These promises remind us that no matter what we walk into this year, God will meet us there — faithful, present, and steady. ❤️

We don’t step into the unknown alone. We step with a Father whose mercies greet us every morning, whose love does not run out when life feels overwhelming.

Let this truth settle deep in your heart as the calendar turns. 🗓️

If you’re looking for a place to start this new year with encouragement, community, and truth that anchors your heart, we’d love to have you join us.

Check out the link in our bio for service times and join us in worship this Sunday. You’re invited, and you’re always welcome here. ⛪

What prayer has God answered in your life? ❤️

This is a question that can be humbling. Sometimes, we get so caught up in the whirlwind of life that we forget to sit down and reflect on what God has actually done for us.

All those prayers weren’t wasted, my friend. He answers them in the way He sees fit, and in His timing.

Looking back on those prayers and seeing where you are now, and how God answered you, is so powerful. It’s a reminder that God has always been there, and He is actively working in your life. 🫶

Here are some ways you can reflect on those prayers:

➡️Write them down: keep track of your prayers, it can be a good way of looking back later on and seeing how they were answered.

➡️Thank Him: thank God for what he’s done for you and how He has answered those prayers.

➡️Share with a loved one: tell others how God has listened to your prayers can be a great encouragement when you least expect it.

Take a moment today to wind down and really appreciate and think about the ways the Lord has provided for your needs!

Share this with friends or family, and save it for later, too.

Happy Thanksgiving! 🦃

🍂When we gather around the Thanksgiving table, it’s often a mix of personalities. Like the loud uncle, the quiet cousin, the storyteller, or the one who can make things interesting.

It can feel a little like a Mötley crew — a mix of black sheep, oddballs, and everyone in between.

Yet somehow, it all works out. Because love holds us together more than our differences ever could. ❤️

Now, let’s think about another table — the Last Supper.

Around that table sat fishermen and a tax collector, and a zealot. People who probably would have never been seated at the same table if it had not been for Jesus.

Fishermen weren’t in the same social class as tax collectors, and zealots despised anyone who sided with Rome. Tax collectors worked for Rome. Yet there they were united because of Jesus!

Christ brings together what the world would never put in the same room. He turns strangers, even enemies,  into brothers and sisters, outcasts into family, and brings unity in the midst of division. 🙌

This Thanksgiving, as we gather around our own tables, may we remember the example Jesus set.

Loving those who are different, showing grace where it’s not expected, and finding unity in Him.

🫶There’s always room at the table of Christ. Join us this Sunday and experience the kind of family only He can create. You belong here!

For many, the holidays are filled with laughter, community, and family traditions.

👉But for others, this season can bring many moments of loneliness.

Maybe you’ve lost someone dear, moved somewhere new, or are struggling to find community.

If that’s you, please know this: you are not alone. You matter deeply to God, and you can belong somewhere. ❤️‍🩹

🙌 The Church is more than a place we go — it’s a family we grow with.

A community where strangers become friends, and friends become family!

Help make the church a place where people are loved and supported:

>> A place where everyone is welcome — no matter your past.

>> A safe space to heal and grow in Christ.

>> A community where we pray for one another and lift each other up.

>> A place where we learn more about God and what His Word tells us.

The love of Christ can fill the empty places in our hearts and remind us that true belonging isn’t found in people, but in God. 🫶

If you’ve been feeling lonely this season, we’d love to see you. Come worship, connect, and be part of a family that strives to love like Jesus.

❤️Check out our bio for service details. There’s a seat waiting for you!

Recently we held a women’s gathering — it was such a sweet time together. ❤️

✨We talked about contentment — not as something we stumble upon, but something we learn as we walk closely with Jesus!

True contentment comes when our eyes stay fixed on Him — when we trust His plan, rest in His goodness, and remember that He is our sovereign King! 🙌

Let’s keep encouraging one another to live with hearts full of gratitude and peace, no matter what season we’re in!
