Hi out there F.B. friends, especially my local friends. I would like to introduce you to Bro.Perry Sexton. This coming Sunday, at Owenton church of Christ, Bro. Sexton and his wife Sister, Sandy will be with us for worship. He will be bringing us a message from Gods Holy Scripture. Possibly leading us in singing praises to our Lord. J.R. and i would like to invite each of you out to worship with us at the Owenton church of Christ. Worship service starts at 9:30 am. They will also be with us Sunday Evening. Service start at 6:00pm. Then again for Bible Study on Tuesday night. Service starts at 7:00PM. Brother Perry is a very easy to understand. Preaches straight from Gods word. Such an inspirational speaker. Please come, you will leave happy that you came and wanting to come back and hear him bring another good lesson from Gods word. Bro. Perry will only be with us for a short time, don't miss out on your chance to hear him. We are praying that he will see how much he us needed here an that we want him and that he mighy just decide to stay awhile and work with the Lords congregation here in Owenton. From Joyce McCoy: Its been a great day of worship. Every time we worship our Lord is just awesome, to be in the assembly singing praises, listening to his word, praying to him, giving back a portion of the money he has blessed us with, and remembering his death, burial and resurrection by partaking of the Lords Supper. Some times something happens that makes it just a little sweeter. This morning we had Brother Larry.Boucher with us, his songs are always great that he leads. His sermon today was brought out in a wonderful different way. Just made you think. A brother that has visited us the past 3 Sunday's, came forward and wanted to rededicate his life to the Lord and be a member of the Owenton Church. He has recently moved from Tennessee. We also had 3 visitors. Tonight our singing and preaching services was held by Brother Perry Sexton from the church of Christ in Greenfield, Tennessee. Great singing and a great lesson. He did a power point lesson. Its so great when you can see the outlines and verses. So easy to take notes. Bro. Sexton will be with us this Tuesday night for bible study. Services are at 7:00 p.m. please come out and study with us, and also meet Brother Perry & his wife Sister Sandy Sexton.

A very good day at Owenton Church of Christ on July 1, 2018. Jonathan Glass preaching. Visitors, one returning as visitor last week. One person moving into the community from Tennessee wishes to place membership. Progress is being made.

Our very special tribute to the wonderful memory of Rose Mary Prather, whose funeral is this Monday at the building of the Owenton Church of Christ. Rose was the very first new convert of the infant church's first door knocking campaign and gospel meeting with David Shannon doing the preaching. She has been the epitome of faithfulness in both service and worship attendance.

The very capable James Rankhorn is the new minister at the Owenton church of Christ. The Ark Encounter is only about 20 miles away. Visitors might consider worshipping at Owenton. The 'Ark' is to eventually employ over 900. This also should benefit the church.

This very fine McCarty family, as Geno teaches on his last Sunday in Owenton. The church will always be indebted for his 'interim ministry' which helped pave the way for their new full-time minister, James Rankhorn, who will begin in July 2016.
