The video from today's service. We were joined today by Rev. Karrakay Kovaly who "pinch-hit" for Bro. Bob when he came down with an infection. Rev. Kovaly is a chaplain with Hospice and her husband is the minister at Bullittsville Christian Church in Hebron. We thank her for jumping in on less than 24 hours notice and doing a great job!

Update on In Person Worship

Good Morning,

We hope this finds you safe and well. We wanted to let members and friends know that we will continue in-person services, for now. We think that the measures currently in place are sufficient to protect attendees. We do ask that you please not attend if: You are sick or if you have been exposed to COVID-19 and are awaiting test results.

Many will choose to stay home and continue to use the Facebook services provided by Bro. Greg and Joy Morgan. We encourage everyone to do what they think is best for themselves and their families.

Let us continue to pray for each other and may you each have a blessed Thanksgiving.

The annual Community Thanksgiving Service, hosted by the First United Methodist Church, has been cancelled due to the pandemic. This service would have normally been this coming Sunday evening, November 22nd.

Hanging of Crismons - You are invited to participate - Details following:
Dear Church,

As we enter into the Christmas Season, changes must be made to our way of preserving our church traditions. Sunday, November 29th, is the first Sunday of Advent. Due to Covid guidelines and restrictions, hanging of the Chrismons in our traditional way will have to be changed. The tree will be put up and the church decorated on the 22nd. We are inviting each family in the church to schedule appointment times to come and place their Chrismons on the tree. The Chrismons will be laid out and there will be someone there to take a picture. These pictures will be uploaded on an app and included in the weekly Worship Video and the In Person Worship Service on November 29th.

We ask that the family group include those members that are currently interacting together on a daily basis. Social distancing will be strictly adhered to between the family and the individual taking the pictures. Hand sanitizer will be easily accessible.

Appointments will be scheduled Monday, November 23rd, 4 PM - 8 PM and Tuesday, November 24th, 4 PM - 8 PM. Call or text Pat at 502-750-3342.
