We are excited to officially announce that Michael & Ashley Decker are the new Lead Pastors of Christ Redeemer Church!
Michael and Ashley have served together in ministry for many years in a wide range of roles, including Youth Pastors, Associate Pastors, Lead Pastors, church planters, and District Overseers. Through every season, God has given them a deep love for the local church and a heart to see people grow in their relationship with Him.
Michael is an Ordained Bishop with the Church of God and holds a Master of Arts in Ministry from Newburgh Theological Seminary and a Bachelor of Science in Church Administration from Lee University. His ministry is shaped by both education and experience, with a passion for discipleship, developing leaders, and helping ministers and church members walk faithfully together.
Michael is also an author and writer. His book, Ministry Unmasked: What Every Minister Faces—and Every Member Needs to Know, explores the realities of ministry and the importance of understanding one another within the Body of Christ. He also shares encouragement, biblical insights, and ministry perspectives through his blog at michaeljdecker.com
Ashley is also stepping into her own calling as a minister/ Pastor. Her love for people has always been at the heart of who she is. She has a genuine gift for encouraging others, building relationships, and helping people feel seen, valued, and loved. She is excited to follow God’s leading and serve the people of Christ Redeemer Church alongside her husband.
Michael and Ashley are blessed with three children - Caleb, Noah, and Chloe - and are excited to begin this new chapter together.
One season has ended. A new season has begun. We believe the best is yet to come, and we are excited to see what God will do as we move forward together!
