I have had many conversations with frustrated parents whose young adult children are struggling to see the value in staying connected to their faith. While I do believe that ultimately faith is a gift from God, I believe there are lots of practices and choices that we parents can make to facilitate faith experiences at home. We want to invite ALL Parents, whether you have toddlers, teens, or young adults, to join us in this conversation. The Diocese of Owensboro is offering 3 workshops called "Building a Family of Faith" throughout the diocese this winter. We invite all High School Youth to consider coming to the Lazarus Retreat Feb 14-16, 2025 at Gasper River Catholic Youth Camp & Retreat Center. This is a one-time retreat experience for high school youth unpacking the story of Lazarus where youth are invited to die to their selves and rise again in Christ Jesus.

IMPORTANT ODYC ANNOUNCEMENT
On Friday at the Owensboro Diocese Youth Conference, we always like to end the night with an hour of celebration with the youth and adults attending. It is known as ODYC After Dark.

This year we are going to change it up a little bit and so we proudly present…
THE GASPER RIVER GAME SHOW!

I do not want to give away too many of the details, but just be assured that the Ben Warrell experience will be in full effect.

HOW I NEED YOUR HELP
Youth will need to indicate at registration their willingness to participate in the events. PLEASE notify your youth leader if you are willing.

The games are not built to humiliate anyone, but they are goofy youth group games. That being said…Participants and Winners will be greatly rewarded!

We need as many participants as possible, but not everyone who is willing will get to participate in one of the events.
