Today, First Baptist Church Owensboro’s Build-A-Bed Crew had the incredible honor of celebrating the 100th H.U.T.S. Home with the Alma Randolph Foundation.
One hundred homes.

One hundred families impacted.

Countless stories of hope, dignity, and care.
Moments like this remind us what the Church is called to be—not just a place we gather, but a people who go, serve, and love our city well.

We are grateful to stand alongside the and so many others who are making a real difference right here in Owensboro.

And we believe this is just the beginning. 🙌

Let me clear something up immediately…
I do NOT dislike Jeannene.

I simply question her life choices when it comes to sports teams. That’s different. Very different. 😅🐯⚾️

Yes, this episode took a little longer to come out. No, it was not because she’s a Bengals and Cubs fan. (Probably.)

In all seriousness — Jeannene might be one of the most servant-hearted people in Owensboro. Special Olympics Daviess County.

Fresh Start. Opportunity Center. Preschool ministry. She basically runs on Diet Coke and compassion.

Make-Up Games This Week

We’re excited to get everyone back on the court after the weather cancellations. Please check the schedule graphic carefully for your team’s date, time, and court assignment.

Games will be held Monday (2/16), Tuesday (2/17), and Thursday (2/19) at The REC unless noted otherwise.

Please arrive 10–15 minutes early so we can stay on schedule. Coaches, please help communicate with your families.

We appreciate your flexibility and are looking forward to a great week of OYBL basketball.

Huge thanks to Kim Swift (Swift Elite Training) for an awesome Basketball Skills Clinic and to the legendary Kendal from ODC for bringing the energy at our Cheer Clinic. Your kids showed up, worked hard, and had an absolute blast!

We’re open until 8PM and we’ve got Family Dodgeball at 2PM (yes… parents vs kids is encouraged 😏).

Billiards & ping pong.
