Owatonna's Episcopal Church since 1860, and the oldest church building in continuous use since that time. But now with a fully renovated congregation! The Church that gave you the King James Bible, and the Book of Common Prayer, whose members range from Shakespeare and George Washington to C.S. Lewis, from Queen Elizabeth to Desmond Tutu, from Robin Williams to Bono to Rachel Held Evans, is also a

church that ordains all persons called by God, without regard to gender, and marries all people drawn into committed relationships. And sound systems. And air conditioning.

Unfortunately, these phishing scams that exploit pastoral relationships are becoming more common and more sophisticated. As a general rule, remember that Fr. Jayan will never email you to request money or to ask cryptically about 'discreet matters.'

Holy Week is coming up! Over the course of these sacred days, commemorate those world-shattering events at the heart of our Christian faith. In these most important liturgies of the Church year, we will walk together with Jesus: through the gates of Jerusalem, along the painful road to the foot of the Cross, down to the grave as he breaks the chains of death, and ultimately up into the glorious light of his Resurrection on Easter Day. This is a great opportunity for newcomers to experience worship in the Episcopal Church—so invite your friends, bring your family, and come celebrate the Paschal Mystery with us!
