This past month our ministry teams have been talking with volunteer leaders about the importance of serving. Every one of us has a story of how we ended up at church, and most likely your story started because someone was bold enough to invite, teach, or disciple you! As a challenge, we passed out JUST ONE tokens to all of our volunteers and encouraged them to pray for one opportunity to share their story of serving with someone else. They were asked to give that token to another person as a personal invitation to jump into serving at First Church. This Sunday, Aug 16th, we want to provide a chance for people to respond to that invitation. We will be set up at Hub 2 in the Gathering Area. Whether someone approached you personally or not, we encourage you to consider this your JUST ONE moment and jump into serving today! 💜
