🌟 You're Invited This Sunday! 🌟

📖 Morning Bible Class | 9 AM
As we near the end of our class study in 1 Timothy, we will be given our final class handout covering 1 Timothy 6:11-21. Among other topics in this last section of study, we will learn about what to flee, what to follow, when to fight, and when to hold tight. We look forward to seeing you in the auditorium adult class, and we have classes for all ages throughout the building.

⛪ Morning Sermon | 10 AM
"Bible Tracking"
This is a follow-up from the lesson in the previous week. We will follow a trail through the Bible, beginning in Genesis 3:15 and culminating at the cross of the Lord. The lesson will help you put together the flow of the Bible from the Old Testament to the crucifixion.

✨ Evening Sermon | 5 PM
"Jeremiah's Journey of Faith"
The lesson will focus on the book of Lamentations (Lamentations 3:1-32). Jeremiah is understood as the author of that material. What he has endured in his prophetic ministry and witnessed in the destruction of Jerusalem has put him in an emotionally and spiritually dark place. As his feelings of despair overwhelm him, he finds a revival of his faith in God. As we study his journey of faith, we can find hope in our challenges today.

"Weather Warnings & Spiritual Applications"
Jesus addresses the Pharisees and Sadducees, who were able to apply common sense to the weather patterns of the sky, but were unable to use common sense in the evidence supplied by heaven concerning Christ. Are we being more perceptive than they were? In the lesson, we will learn about one of the most unusual miracles performed by Jesus.

"The Well-Ordered Life"
We will use 3 main passages with some similar wording to remind us of our sure message, our sure relationship in Christ, and our approach to people as we serve our Lord.

📖✨ This Sunday at Owasso church of Christ ✨📖

🕘 Bible Class (9:00 AM)
We will be covering 1 Timothy 5:17-25, discussing the relationship between elders and the local congregation. That section will end with some admonitions for Timothy as the preacher. If we have time, we will introduce chapter six.

🙏 Morning Sermon (10:00 AM)
"The Greatest Ambition"
Our text will cover 2 Corinthians chapters 4 and 5. There is a section of that text that is more familiar than other parts. The less familiar sections provide the context to understand the parts we tend to use more frequently. The insight of a fuller understanding gives us direction and encouragement.

❤️ Evening Sermon (5:00 PM)
"6 Habits of a Hardened Heart"
Heart trouble is serious business. It is a common understanding that if you show up at the emergency room complaining of heart trouble, you are moved quickly through the system because of the danger it poses. Our lesson is a spiritual heart check-up. Our primary focus will be on Hebrews chapter three.

📖 Morning Bible Class | 9 AM
Welcome to the Sunday morning Bible class in the main auditorium. Our study of 1 Timothy has progressed to chapter five. That chapter is a discussion about relationships with a focus on widows and elders. What is the difference between a widow and a widow indeed? What does it mean to give double honor to an elder? What is the Bible-taught way to address an elder who sins? These are some of the questions we will encounter in our class study.

⛪ Morning Sermon | 10 AM
"Faith Conclusions in Hebrews 11"
We will begin with a basic understanding of faith and then notice some of the lessons intended in the chapter, as well as some of the misunderstandings to avoid.

✨ Evening Sermon | 5 PM
"Bookends of the Night"
A lesson title borrowed from Eddie Cloer. We will cover Psalms 3 and 4. Psalm 3 is a morning prayer of trust in God, and Psalm 4 is an evening prayer of the same. Together, they form our bookends of the night. They will challenge how we handle our problems as we lie down at night and rise to the new day. The two Psalms boost confidence in God and strengthen faith.

📖 AM Bible Class | 9 AM
We will finish a review of 1 Timothy chapter four and introduce chapter five.

⛪ AM Sermon | 10 AM
"Are You In a Losing Battle?"
Our lesson text is found in Romans 7 as Paul describes a hopeless battle against sin and its devastating result. As the chapter closes, we read one of the saddest verses in all the Bible, followed by the greatest victory, but we cannot find it by our own ability. Understanding and complying with the text, we can turn from a losing battle to the answer of God's provision in Christ.

🌅 PM Sermon | 5 PM
"Work Out Your Own Salvation"
The quote found in Philippians 2:12 strikes some as odd because of other passages that talk about being saved by grace (cf. Eph 2:8-10). Receiving God's grace requires continued faithful activity on our part. Our passage of study will offer a manner and means of working out our salvation in Christ.

Come hungry for God's Word and ready to be encouraged! Bring a friend - everyone is welcome.
