Brian is clearly handling final preparations for tomorrow with the appropriate amount of seriousness. 😂

There’s a whole lot of laughter, joy, and anticipation around here as we get ready for tomorrow.

At 10:30 AM, we’ll gather together and share more about the vision God has called us to as The Vintage Church—who we’re becoming, what we believe God is building, and why we’re so excited about what’s ahead.

We’ll be sharing the heart behind The Vintage—our vision, mission, and values; who we are, why we exist, and what we believe God is calling us to become together.

You’ll also hear more about how you can belong, get involved, and be part of what’s ahead.

If you’re looking for a church home, curious about The Vintage, or simply want to hear more about who we are, this is a great Sunday to join us.

⚠️: The Vintage Church AHEAD
Before you visit The Vintage Church, there are a few things you should probably know.

If you’re looking for a normal church experience, this may not be it. 😂

We like old things.

And not just old furniture.

Old prayers. Old practices. Church history. The church calendar. Communion every week. Scripture read aloud. Things Christians have been doing for hundreds—and sometimes thousands—of years.

But don’t mistake that for stuffy.

We’re basically Charismatic people who discovered church history and decided we wanted both.

So yes, there may be liturgy.

There may also be someone praying loudly for you.

Proceed accordingly. 😂

We have a suspiciously high tolerance for questions, too.

You can doubt. You can disagree. You can not know what you believe yet. You can have a complicated church history.

Just know—we also believe Jesus actually changes people. So we’re not particularly interested in pretending following Him shouldn’t eventually do something to us.

Your kids are welcome to be kids.

People will probably learn your name.

Someone may notice when you’re gone.

And eventually, somebody is probably going to feed you.

We’d rather something be real than impressive, which unfortunately means you may encounter actual humans here.

Some of them are weird.

The pastors are included in that statement.

So here’s the warning:

We’re evangelical enough to tell you about Jesus, Pentecostal enough to believe He might do something right now, sacramental enough to believe He’s been meeting His Church at the Table for centuries, and human enough to know we’ll make a mess of it sometimes.

Saints and sinners welcome.

Just be careful.

You might come looking for a church service…

and accidentally find a family.

Something new is beginning in Collinsville!

Join us tomorrow at 10:30 AM —1209 W Oak St, Collinsville, OK—as we gather to dream, pray, and prepare for our official launch on September 14th!

This won't be a typical Sunday church service. We’re opening the doors for a special time of vision casting, practical updates on what the next few weeks will look like, and extended prayer over this new work and our city.

Whether you've been on this journey with us for a while, looking for a church home, or just curious about what God is doing, ALL ARE WELCOME.

Childcare will be available!

Come as you are, bring your heart for our community, and let's seek the Lord together for what's ahead. See you tomorrow morning!
