You cannot get the horizontal right while neglecting the vertical.
Reconciliation with others begins with remembering how Jesus reconciled us to God.
Do not let the wounds done TO you become greater than the wounds Jesus bore FOR you.
Jesus must have the preeminence. Not a place in your life. FIRST PLACE.
This is where reconciliation begins.

NEW WEDNESDAY MEN’S BREAKFAST SERIES!

Every Jesus-following man is called to lead with love and confidence. The letters of 1 & 2 Timothy were written to a young man who had the responsibility to lead, yet lacked the confidence to do so. His mentor and father in the faith, Paul wrote to give him direction, strength, power, and vision to lead like Jesus.

In this new Men’s Breakfast series, men will gain their confidence to be leaders in their marriage, home, and life. They will learn to stand in the Jesus-given authority they have over sin, evil, laziness, doubt, the fear of men, and their own flesh.
IT IS TIME TO STAND IN YOUR JESUS-GIVEN AUTHORITY AND BE A MAN!

Our 5/6 students kicked off a brand new series through Colossians last night!

They are learning the Bible, building strong relationships, and growing deeper in their faith each week. We love seeing what God is doing in this next generation.

RECONCILIATION REACHES INTO THE DEEP PLACES.

We began The Reconcilers yesterday, and last night at Coffee & Conversation, the discussion continued.

Reconciliation is raw. It reaches into hurts, dysfunction, broken patterns, and relationships that have carried pain for years. But God has entrusted us with the ministry of reconciliation, and it begins first with Him.

One day in, and what God is already stirring, revealing, and renewing is incredible.

The work of reconciliation with one another begins with the work God is doing in us.

A new series begins at Vertical Church: THE RECONCILERS.
Those who have been reconciled to God have now been entrusted with the message and responsibility of leading others to reconciliation. We are now the reconcilers.

But reconciliation in the horizontal can only happen when there is first reconciliation in the vertical. Before our earthly relationships can be made right, we must first be made right with God through Jesus Christ.
Jesus is the Great Reconciler. He is the One who made a way for us to be reconciled to God. And when we understand what He has done and continues to do for us, we find the strength, motivation, and example we need to pursue reconciliation with one another.

Reconciliation begins with Jesus.

BEFORE WE CAN BE RECONCILERS, WE HAVE TO KNOW THE GREAT RECONCILER.

Today we began THE RECONCILERS by looking at Jesus and what He has done to reconcile us to God.

Reconciliation in the horizontal can only happen when there is first reconciliation in the vertical. We cannot give what we have not first received.

Jesus came for us. Jesus made the way. Jesus is the Great Reconciler.

And now, those who have been reconciled to God have been entrusted with the message and responsibility of reconciliation.
WE ARE NOW THE RECONCILERS.
