Our Message today is taken from 11 Chronicles 36:26. Why Blessings and Healings are denied, not just delay but denied. The theme is "The Misuse of the Prophets"
The English word “misused” is the Hebrew word “ta’a”- 1) to deceive, misuse a) (Pilpel) 1) To be a mocker, mock, 2) mocker (subst), (b) (Hithpalpel), 1) to ridicule, 2) mocking (participle), to mock, to scoff at, to stammer, to slip with the tongue in speaking, a stammering,

It is seen in place in the Old Testament and Reappears in the Psalms and 1 & II Peter. Lets look at Gen 27:12 -My father peradventure will feel me, and I shall seem to him as a deceiver (misused) 8591 and I shall bring a curse upon me, and not a blessing.

and again in
2Ch 36:16 - But they mocked the messengers of God, and despised his words, and misused8591 his prophets, until the wrath of the LORD arose against his people, till [there was] no remedy.

His prophets is the word nabiy' - 1) spokesman, speaker, prophet, a) prophet b) false prophet c) heathen prophet.

And their purpose is to bring remedy......notice the word "profit"
Until there was no remedy- the word “remedy”- is the Hebrew word “marpe'”- which means- 1) health, healing, cure, a) healing, cure, b) health, profit, sound (of mind), c) healing, 1) incurable (with negative)

If they accept, respect, honor, hold fast to, here is the benefits: The opposite of the curse which is to be sound, cure, wholesomeness, refreshing of body and mind, relaxed mind, tranquility of mind, meekness, tranquility of tongue, gentle, gentleness, modest speech, “gentleness hinders from great offenses”.
