This Account is Closed as of 1222 Overton Missionary Baptist Church has closed due to decreased membership over the past several years.

We offer Sunday School classes for all ages at 9:45 AM followed by Morning Worship at 10:45 AM and Evening Worship at 6:30 PM. We also offer a Bible Study class Wednesday nights at 6:30 PM

Visitation for Brother Tom will be at Cottle Funeral Home on Saturday May 5th from 6 to 8 p.m. Funeral Services on Sunday May 6th at 2 p.m. at the Overton Missionary Baptist Church.

Went by and visited with June Gilstrap today at Providence Rehab/Nursing Home in Tyler.. She is in Room 605 and her phone # in her room is 903-579-0045. She is doing good and would welcome calls and visits as she does not know how long she will be there. Providence is located at 5505 New Copeland Road.

Update on Jimmy Speck....
He did well last night and if he continues to do okay today, he may get to go home tomorrow. If not tomorrow then on Christmas Day. What a Christmas gift that will be.

Please keep Tommy Guinn in prayer. Not feeling well. Is at the emergency room with what he thinks is another UTI. Pray he is feeling better by Christmas.

They have just taken Jimmy Speck back to start his heart surgery. Please lift Jimmy and Irene up in prayer as well as the surgeons. He is having the surgery done at ETMC.
