Prayer. One of the foundations to living relationship with the God the universe. So many of us struggle with prayer, this is not new, even those who were in the presence of Jesus struggled with prayer. In Matthew 6:8-13, Jesus tells us exactly how to pray. In the C.S. Lewis book, Letters to Malcom, he views the Lord's Prayer, not as something that should be ritually memorized and regurgitated, but an armature to be thoughtfully festooned with the petition and suffering of your heart.

Next Sunday we will be beginning Ecclesiastes chapter 10. It is a collection of proverbs and observations, reflecting on the sharp contrast between wisdom and folly. Emphasizing how a small amount of foolishness can undermine a life of wisdom and honor, particularly among leaders and those in positions of power. The "teacher" illustrates how wisdom brings success and safety, while folly leads to trouble and self-destruction. We hope to see you there!
