You can't build big houses on small foundations. Anyone who knows me knows I like big houses at least 6 bedrooms to start. Many of the saints are living in what I call survival mode, they look the part of abundance, but they are barely making it.
In Matthew 7:25 both houses were built, but one failed and one stood. You know why? The foundation of it was not good, while they other one built it on a solid rock.
One time I was having a storm in my church and some people were giving problems and my late pastor Bishop Daniel M. Jordan said to me in his office, "you gotta make up your mind, either you are going to build a church of quaninty or quality". Just because you have a packed house doesn't mean its effective.
Today I get more done without that group then I did when I had a packed church. I work hard to make sure that every member of my church where I pastor is strong in the word. I don't jump on every band wagon or dance on every set, I take into consideration, is this going to help our church or will we waste time doing this task?
Work on making your church strong in the word. It will show in the time of storms what you are made of.
