Hills Chapel Hills Chapel exists to glorify God by sharing the gospel to all of those we meet and by making Christ-like followers who make Christ-like followers.

Please join us for worship! In the early 1900's the people of Lower Rocky Fork Community realized the importance of worshipping God together with other Christians, so they began gathering together. After many years, this small group with the help of W.E. Stivers organized a group of believers to form the Rocky Fork Christian Union Church in November of 1932. The church outgrew the old schoolhouse where the meetings were being held and land was bought and construction was started on a new building. On August 30, 1960, the first worship service was held in the new Hill's Chapel Christian Union Church. The name was changed in honor of Mr. Delbert Hill who had been such a faithful leader of the congregation and had gone on to his eternal home June 11, 1933. The congregation still recognizes the importance of worshipping God together with other Christians. We love God and each other and invite you into our church family.

Discipleship Days Semester 2 has officially begun at Hills Chapel. Students learned about Noah and the faith it took to begin building a boat when there was no rain or water in sight.
Hebrews 11:7 says, "It was by faith Noah heard God’s warnings about things that he could not yet see. He obeyed God and built a large boat to save his family. By his faith, Noah showed that the world was wrong. And he became one of those who are made right with God through faith."
We too can have faith like Noah to believe God, even when we can't see what He's doing or it doesn't make sense to us. We can trust God because the Bible tells us we can!

Our next class will be on October 25th during morning service. Elementary age children welcome!

This Sunday begins our second semester of Discipleship Days. Our curriculum is "Scoop Up Scripture". Elementary age students will be learning all about biblical character traits such as leadership, friendship and being responsible one scoop at a time.
We will meet once a month, downstairs, during morning service. See McKenzie Richard for more info.
