It has been with heavy hearts, we have made the decision to close the doors of SouthSide Church. Scott and I are ministering in the SEIA area and within Foursquare. Through Covid we had not been able to sustain finances to keep the doors open, provide outreach to the level needed to continue to pour into the community at our current location and maintain the upkeep of the building. Thank you so much to our Ottumwa community ministry partners, their beautiful support and walking alongside us throughout the years, such as Mark and Jennifer Hornback, and their crew, at First Church of the Open Bible; Marty Schmidt, Craig Zuithoff, Ben Malloy, Rachel and Darik Koostra, Tommy Wilkins, and Bryce and Brielle Lidtka of The Bridge Church; Fran and Garry Shepherd of Last Days Ministries; Jim and Cherie Cecil of Fairfield Foursquare; Matt Seldon of Trinity Nazarene, and our SEIA Foursquare champions, Del and Randy Bennett in Knoxville who traveled here to minister with us on more than one occasion; Sam and Gwen Fratt, who mentor so well through their experience; Adam and Eden Johnson, who always make time for a genuine, heart to heart chat, no matter how many jobs or children you may be holding at the moment...;-) ...many more authentic hearts for Christ, serving Jesus and not afraid to reach out and have meaningful connections with community, also pouring into their community of pastors as well. We love you and know you will continue to shepherd your areas well.
