🌦️🌪️ The Ottoville 4-H and 4-H Cloverbuds group invited one of our favorite people to give a special weather safety presentation to the group—Lima Chief Meteorologist Conner Prince! 📡☁️
What an amazing, informative, and compassionate presentation Conner gave! 👏 He knows all about the history of major national and local storms, including presentations about the Van Wert and St. Marys tornadoes, and even our local 2012 derecho. 🌪️⚡ He’s an expert, he’s compassionate, and he shared great life-saving storm advice based on real-life experiences. ❤️
One powerful story he shared was how a theater worker in Van Wert helped save lives by stopping a movie and directing people to take shelter during the 2002 tornado. 🏃♂️🛑🌪️ He also reminded everyone to “put on your shoes” if a tornado is headed your way. 👟 These simple tips can make a big difference in an emergency!
We appreciate Conner taking the time to visit and share his knowledge with our group. 🙏 And of course, we remember that he’s also the one who took the famous winter photo of Immaculate Conception Church—after enjoying a meal from Millie’s! ❄️⛪📸🍽️
