That's a wrap on the 2026 Northern Illinois Synod Assembly!

Thank you for the many ways that you showed up this weekend. Together, we gathered around the table, we discerned various motions, we celebrated milestone anniversaries, and we remembred our saints. We are greatful for your care for another throughout our time together and we can't wait to see how we journey together over the next year.

Joy is not simply a feeling. It is a way of living that flows from knowing we belong to God.

As we gather for worship today, may our gratitude overflow into acts of kindness, compassion, and service. May we carry the joy we experience in worship into the world God loves.

We had fun at the Ottawa Pride Festival today! We were excited to celebrate our neighbors and siblings in Christ in the LGBTQIA+ community. Thank you to everyone who came out to show their pride and support! All proceeds will be donated to Growing Hope Globally. Click the link to learn more.
