We had someone that was kind enough to capture these beautiful pictures last night as they passed by Oakwood!

Incredibly beautiful and full of gratitude that someone took time to stop, take the pictures, and then share them with us!

Happy Wednesday everyone!

Scammers will literally go to ANY length to retrieve information. Unfortunately I am beginning to see them prey on individuals that have recently lost loved ones. They are looking up obituaries and trying to take advantage of people in their most vulnerable states by pretending to be officiants, family members, etc. and asking for information through Facebook messenger.

Please be aware of this so that they can not lock you out of your account or steal any of your information! If you receive a message from someone you are close to asking for a code, TEXT them (not through FB) or CALL them to verify. If you receive a message from a pastor or a funeral director or anyone else that is helping make decisions in the planning stages of your loved one that has passed… please reach out to that person directly to verify!

For those of you that have had to experience this on top of your grief, I am so sorry. My heart goes out to you.

Stay alert!

Concerning St Columba Cemetery. In an attempt to clean up the cemetery and remove shepherds hooks that have not been used in numerous years we accidentally picked up many that should not have been picked up. I want to apologize for your frustration and inconvenience this has caused anyone. We are attempting to replace these hooks that you have been using. If you know someone that may not see this please let them know. I appreciate your help. Please stop by or call my office and we will get it back out there. Thank you for your patience and understanding as we work through this mistake.
