Tonight I sit and read the Holy Bible before heading to sleep. I give thanks as I count my blessings. Also, as I was praying for the people that are in war zones, a fellow pastor sent me this meme and it really put something on my mind. As I finished my prayers as was about to close my bible, I saw Isaiah 2:4 He will judge between the nations and will settle disputes for many peoples. They will beat their swords into plowshares and their spears into pruning hooks. Nation will not take up sword against nation, nor will they train for war anymore.
I pray that our nation’s leaders are reading the scriptures and with guidance of the Almighty, with wisdom and with understanding.
