Dear friends, it's been a snowy day, but we WILL be having our regular Wednesday evening service and activities tonight at church; however, we will not be running the bus to pick up kids this evening. Road conditions have improved throughout the day, and our men should have our walks and lots cleared in time. Please spread the word, and thanks!

This evening, Tuesday, 1/17, our Academy is hosting a fundraiser at Freddy's in Ottawa from 6-10 PM. Please come out and join us, and be sure to tell the cashier that you are with Calvary Baptist Academy so that the Academy will receive a percentage of the sale. See you tonight!

McDonald’s, Arby’s, and Culver’s were our restaurants of choice today.

Everyone is settled in and falling asleep after a long day. Ready for some sight seeing tomorrow!!!

Congratulations to our students from Calvary Baptist Academy and Calvary Baptist Home Educators who recently competed in the junior/senior high regional competition hosted by the Mid-America Association of Christian Schools! In addition to winning numerous individual awards, these students brought home 6 out of the 10 school awards, including highest total points in academics as well as highest percentage in academics, music, art, speech, and Bible. Several will now go on to compete in the AACS national competition. Although the in-person elementary competition was canceled this year, our elementary students also won highest percentage in academic testing. We are very thankful for these talented young people and their hard work to prepare for competition!

Our youth group is doing a t-shirt fundraiser to help raise money for missions trip!! Would you consider buying one (or two!) 😉

These shirts are $15, and come with either gray or blue text. Sizes range from 2T-4XL.

Each shirt bought will contribute $7 profit for the teens!

Orders must be finialized by March 14th.

If you have not had a chance to sign up in person, please comment below which size and color you would like! Payment can be made after shirts come in.

We can ship too!! Just add an additional $5 total for shipping, no matter how many shirts you buy.
