Market is open and luckily rain is staying south of us! So, stop on down to the market. We have live music starting in a few minutes.

Strawberries are back at the market but are expected to go quick. Speaking of strawberries, we have a lot of strawberry themed baked goods at the market today. 😋

We also have other fresh baked goods, freshly baked artisan breads, farm fresh eggs, ready made meals, jams, honey, maple syrup, freeze dried snacks, soaps, candles, woodworking items, crafts and so much more!

Market is open till 2 p.m. today. We are located in the Church of God parking lot in downtown Otsego.

Market will be open tomorrow! We are expecting some rain in the morning but should be cleared out by mid-morning.

Last week, strawberries made an appearance at the market. These sold out very quickly. So, if you want any, I would try to get to the market early. Strawberry season is also very short, in terms of weeks. So, don’t wait if you wanting to freeze or make jams with any.

Market runs from 9 am- 2 pm tomorrow. We are located in the Church of God parking lot in downtown Otsego.

Strawberries made an appearance at the market yesterday. Strawberry freezer jam is super easy to make. It’s also a great activity for the kids. Kids love mashing the strawberries for freezer jam. 😊

Nothing beats cold strawberry freezer jam on hot buttered toasted bread. Speaking of bread, you can also pick that up from the market with the strawberries. We have two bread vendors, Rockin K Farms and VerHage Fruit Farms & Cider Mill. So make sure to stop by the market next Saturday. 😋

This strawberry freezer jam made with fresh berries is quick, easy, and delicious. Enjoy it on anything from toast to ice cream, or even milkshakes.

Market is open and it’s a great start to a beautiful day! ☀️

Strawberries arrived at the market this morning! These are expected to go quick, so get down to the market if you want any. Rhubarb and asparagus are still in full swing at the market.

Market will be open tomorrow and weather looks like it’s going to be beautiful compared to last week. With this beautiful weather, it will help the growing season along. Fresh produce is already coming into the market but as the weeks continue, we will start to see more varieties of fresh fruit and vegetables.

We will have plant starts and beautiful hanging baskets to purchase. I purchased a couple orange/yellow begonia baskets for my front porch last week, they’re gorgeous! I have received a few comments on them on how beautiful they are. If orange and yellow aren’t in your color scheme, they have beautiful red, magenta, purple flowering baskets.

Market is open and rain is starting to clear out. We have a few vendors braving the rain. So, come out to support local vendors!

We have a lot of great items for your holiday weekend. We have freshly baked pies, fresh breads, fresh baked goods(including gluten free) and fresh produce. You can easily pick these up for your picnics, barbecues and beach trips.

We also have farm fresh eggs, ready to cook meals, maple syrup, honey, jams, beautiful hanging baskets, plant starts, candles, woodworking items, crafts and so much more!

Market will be open tomorrow for all your shopping needs. If you’re planning on camping, grilling or hitting the beach this holiday weekend, we have you covered. Fresh asparagus is great for grilling out. 😋

If you’re going to be working on yard work, we will have a lot of plant starts at the market tomorrow. I know with the rising costs of groceries, it has a lot of people thinking about planting gardens. With the plant starts you pick up at the market, the plants are already established, just need to put them in a bigger space once you get them home. We will have starts of broccoli, cabbage, celery, eggplant, kale, various peppers and various tomato varieties. We will also have herb starts, like basil, borage, cilantro, dill and parsley. I love cooking with fresh herbs!

I’m also very happy to announce that VerHage Fruit Farms & Cider Mill added us to their farmers market lineup. They bring their products to local farmers markets and I was so excited when they inquired about our market! Not only will they bringing fresh produce to the market, they will have fresh baked pies, fresh baked goods, fresh breads, etc. They will also have ready made meals to take and cook. These are a great idea if you have any elderly parents, for parents that have a newborn at home, or busy families.

Market is open and rain has started to move out! Looks like it’s going to be a great day for visiting the market!

We have a lot of plant starts at the market today. If you’ve been thinking about starting a garden, this is a great way to start one. The plants are already established and you don’t have to battle the birds eating the seeds.

Chula Vista Garden Club is also here today with their annual plant sale. They have a lot of great plants and great prices.

Market will be open tomorrow and a lot of your favorite vendors will be back with your favorite items. However, we will have a couple guest appearances tomorrow.

-Chula Vista Garden Club will be joining us tomorrow for their annual plant sale. This is a great time to pick up plants that are reasonable priced and to get advice from the experts.

-A+ Greenhouse will be bringing their beautiful hanging baskets to the market. They’re absolutely gorgeous and would beautifully decorate a front porch, patio or deck! They’re only at our market for a limited time, so don’t miss out!
