This Sunday, we’re kicking off a brand-new sermon series, The Church We Long For, as we look to 1 & 2 Timothy to discover what it means to be a faithful, courageous, and gospel-centered church. We’re excited to welcome back Guest Pastor Tom Johnson as he opens the series with:

Following Jesus isn’t always easy. There will be distractions, challenges, and moments when it would be easier to change direction. But God calls His church to remain faithful and stay the course.

🌿 OC Women’s Bible Study is back!

We’re excited to gather together again this fall with OC Women’s Bible Study! 💕

This season, we’ll be walking through the Gospel of Luke, taking a closer look at the people, stories, and moments that point us to Jesus and prepare the way for His ultimate sacrifice.

Whether you’ve been part of our study before or you’re joining us for the first time, we’d love to have you! Come as you are, bring your Bible and favorite afternoon drink (or a coffee mug!), and join us as we grow together in God’s Word and encourage one another along the way.

New Sermon Series Alert!

What kind of church do we long to be? In our next sermon series: The Church We Long For, we’ll journey through 1 and 2 Timothy to discover Paul’s vision for a faithful, courageous, and gospel-centered church. A church that stays the course. A church shaped by grace. A church unashamed of Jesus and ready to stand firm when following Him gets difficult.

This series is an invitation to look beyond what church has been and imagine what it can become when we faithfully follow Jesus together. As we listen to Paul’s words, we’ll be challenged to consider not only the church we long for, but the church God is calling us to be.

It’s the 5th Sunday of August, which means it’s time for another special Kids’ Song at Otley Church! 🎶

This Sunday, our Otley Church kids will be signing “Light of the World” at the beginning of our worship service. We can’t wait to see them share their gifts and help us celebrate Jesus, the Light of the World!

✨ We Believe: The Apostles' Creed | Week 9 ✨

We've reached the final week of our sermon series, We Believe: The Apostles' Creed, and we couldn't be more grateful for the journey we've shared together!

This week, we are excited to welcome Brian Vande Lune as he wraps up our series with a message titled "Resurrection & Life Everlasting," focusing on 1 Corinthians 15:42–44.

As we close out our journey through the Apostles' Creed, we'll turn our hearts toward one of the greatest promises of our faith: the resurrection and the hope of everlasting life through Jesus Christ.

In 1 Corinthians 15, Paul reminds us that what is sown in weakness will be raised in glory. Because Christ has conquered death, death does not have the final word. We have a living hope and the promise that one day we too will be raised to new life.

What a powerful truth to end this series on!

Whether you've been with us for all nine weeks or you're joining us for the final Sunday, we'd love to have you worship with us as we celebrate the hope we have in Christ.

✨ We Believe: The Apostles' Creed | Week 8 ✨

We are nearing the end of our sermon series, We Believe: The Apostles' Creed, and we hope you'll join us this Sunday at Otley Church!

This week, we are excited to welcome Guest Pastor Dale Davis as he shares a message on "Forgiveness of Sins," focusing on Exodus 34.

Forgiveness is at the heart of God's story throughout Scripture. In Exodus 34, we see God reveal Himself as compassionate, gracious, slow to anger, and abounding in steadfast love and faithfulness. As we explore this portion of the Apostles' Creed, we'll be reminded of the incredible grace and mercy God extends to us.

What does it mean to truly experience God's forgiveness? And how should receiving His grace shape the way we live and extend forgiveness to others? These are truths worth reflecting on as we grow in our faith.
