❄️ Sunday Worship Update for January 25 ❄️

Due to the forecasted winter storm for our area, in-person worship services are cancelled this Sunday for everyone’s safety.

We will share a pre-recorded worship service during our usual service time, so we can still worship together as a community—wherever we are.

If you are able, please reach out to anyone you know who may not see this post, so they’re aware of the change.

Christmas Eve: The Christ Candle ✨

“The true light that shines on all people was coming into the world.” — John 1:9 (CEV)

Tonight we light the Christ Candle—
the Light no darkness can overcome,
the Promise born into a manger,
the Savior who is God-with-us.

As we gather in wonder and worship,
may Christ’s light fill our hearts, our homes,
and the whole world with hope, peace, joy, and love.

Let us pray:
O Holy Child of Bethlehem,
be born in us today.
Shine Your light in our lives and in our world,
that we may walk in Your grace,
Your truth, and Your everlasting love.
Amen.

Fourth Sunday in Advent: LOVE ❤️

“God showed His love for us when He sent His only Son into the world.” — 1 John 4:9 (CEV)

As we light the fourth candle, we give thanks for the love that came down at Christmas—steadfast, self-giving, and reaching every one of us.

May Christ’s love shape our words, our actions, and our worship in these final days of Advent.

Let us
God of Love, draw us close to Your heart. Teach us to love as You have loved us—freely, generously, and with compassion. Amen.
