First United Methodist Church of Oswego Oswego FUMC is a multigenerational Christian community, which honors and worships God, reaching out and touching the world with the love of Jesus Christ.

Services are in-person and online at 10 a.m.
& Sunday School for kids at 9:45 a.m. on Sunday We welcome all who have come to this house of God. We believe that the Spirit of God has led you here. We hope that you'll feel the Spirit in our services of prayer and praise. We are back to our regular service schedule with all COVID Pandemic CDC and Local Guidelines in place. Sundays Worship Service is

at 10 AM in person and Live Stream here on our page. Some office hours are reduced due to the COVID Pandemic.

Yesterday was a beautiful reminder of what it means to be the hands and feet of Jesus. A huge thank you to our incredible Mission Team and everyone who served to support our neighbors!

Your hard work, sacrifice, and dedication truly embodied God's love through practical, life-changing outreach. When we serve our community, we bring hope right to where it's needed most.

Rain outside, but nothing but sunshine on the inside! 🌧️➡️☀️✨

Even though the rain forecast and wet ground moved our summer picnic into the sanctuary and fellowship hall yesterday, the spirit of our community couldn't be dampened!

It was the same laughter, the same joyful vibe, the same abundant grace, and the exact same love shared around the table. 🍽️❤️

A huge thank you to everyone who brought their favorite dishes to pass, shared their warm spirits, and joined us for a wonderful indoor summer picnic. Weather comes and goes, but this community remains strong!

Dear Church Family,

This is a quick reminder that tomorrow, Sunday, August 23rd at 10:00 AM, we are scheduled for our Summer Outdoor Service followed by a potluck lunch! Please remember to bring your lawn chairs and a dish to share.

Rain Plan Update: We are closely monitoring the weather forecast, which indicates a high chance of rain during our service time.

If weather permits: We will gather outside on the lawn as planned.

If it rains (or the ground is too wet): We will move the worship service inside the sanctuary.

Either way, we will still hold the potluck fellowship inside or outside according to the weather/ground conditions following the service! We look forward to worshipping and sharing a meal together tomorrow, rain or shine.

Join us with your lawn chair for a special outdoor worship service at Oswego First United Methodist Church on Sunday, August 23rd, at 10 a.m.!

After the service, we’ll enjoy a potluck fellowship—so bring your favorite dish to share and a lawn chair for seating.

It’s a wonderful time to connect with friends, enjoy God’s creation, and share a meal together. All are welcome—invite a friend!
