JOIN US THIS SUNDAY

Dear Elim Grace,

There comes a point when it’s no longer that we CAN’T believe, but that we WON’T. We won’t believe we need forgiveness or to forgive. We won’t believe we need to change or that we’re wrong. We won’t believe what the Scriptures say is true or that it is true for me. We won’t believe we are angry or that we need help. We won’t…and with time our hearts grow cold and become hardened. And when that happens, we need the grace of the Lord Jesus Christ to penetrate and tenderize our hearts once again.

This Sunday Pastor Jonathan preaches a personal sermon to every person willing to reflect on their own heart: “7 Symptoms I’m Losing My Tenderness”. Let’s take time over the next three days to ask the Holy Spirit “search me, O God, and know my heart!”

Dear Elim Grace,

If I say, “I’m a musician,” what should you assume would be proof of that? If you say, “I’m a gardener,” what should I assume would be proof of that? If we say, “We are anointed by Christ,” what should we assume would be proof of that? The same proof of His anointing! Proof that stems from His anointing upon us, “The Spirit of the Lord is upon me…”

This Sunday is Pentecost Sunday and we gather together not only to celebrate the coming of the Spirit but to participate in that coming. Pastor Jonathan will be preaching a sermon titled, “5 Reasons we are (to be continually) filled with the Spirit.” Let’s prepare our hearts to meet with the God who chooses, fills, transforms, sends, and empowers His people.

JOIN US THIS SUNDAY

Dear Elim Grace,

God has delivered us once and for all from sin and death through Jesus Christ. Yet, He continues to deliver us throughout our days from sin and temptation. And many times we don’t realize the power of His deliverance. What seems in the moment like a simple “no” to temptation or easy run away from sin, in retrospect we see the mighty hand of God at work. Why? “For you have delivered my soul from death, yes, my feet from falling, that I may walk before God in the light of life.” (Psalm 56:13)

This Sunday we gather together as those freed and being set free to walk in the light of Christ. Our Pastoral Apprentice, Wyatt, is preaching, so let’s pray for him and for us that God would be mighty to save and to deliver us through His Word for His name’s sake.

JOIN US THIS SUNDAY

Dear Elim Grace,

We have said that we are more than a MULTI-generational church. We are growing a CROSS-generational church. We could have all the generations present but as silos. We refuse for this to happen! We want each and every generation in relationship with one another. Serving one another. Honoring one another. This is how we will grow BIG in the character and love of Christ.

This Sunday Pastor Bill will be preaching on the theme of our conduct towards one another as Christians and “members of the household and family of God.” Let’s pray for one another, that the honor and love of Christ would fill our hearts.
