Christmas doesn’t end on December 25.
The gift keeps unfolding in ordinary days.

At our Christmas Masses, each family is invited to take home The Practice of the Presence of God with Spiritual Maxims — a quiet but demanding reminder that God is not confined to church walls or formal prayer.

Brother Lawrence learned to encounter God in kitchens, conversations, and daily work. He wrote that he found the same peace with God amid the noise of his tasks as he did kneeling before the Blessed Sacrament.

That is Christmas lived out: Emmanuel, God with us, in every moment.

May this season help you notice His presence not only at the manger, but in the middle of real life.

Christmas begins with a gift freely given.

In the Incarnation, God entrusts Himself to us — as a child, as a gift, as love made visible.

This prayer from St. Ignatius of Loyola gives us the only fitting response: to receive that gift and to place our lives back into God’s hands in trust.

Merry Christmas from Most Blessed Sacrament Parish.

Please pick up a bag at Mass and drop off your non-perishable food donations for the Oshkosh Area Community Pantry at either worship site the fourth Sunday of each month!
