One of the hardest lessons God will teach you is that you cannot save everybody. You have to place them into the hands of God and understand that you were never called to carry what only God can change. You can pray for them, speak truth unto them, but you cannot make somebody receive what they have already chosen to reject. Sometimes the most faithful thing you can do is stop trying to rescue somebody God never assigned you to save.

Also, Jesus loves them but he will not force them to surrender what they are unwilling to release. He will not change the truth to make them stay.

When life feels confusing and nothing makes sense, remember that God still has a good plan for you. Even the waiting sea...

When life feels confusing and nothing makes sense, remember that God still has a good plan for you. Even the waiting seasons are not wasted.

When things feel delayed and you are tempted to rush, trust this truth: What is meant for you will come at the right time, because God is never late.

Rest in the Lord, trust His plan, and keep moving forward on the path He has laid out for you.

Scripture teaches us to restore gently, not harshly. We can speak truth, offer help, and remain near. But we cannot choose change for someone else, nor do we have to let another person's storm pull us under. Love can reach toward someone from a place of safety. It does not always have to jump in.

Many people think that life is based on satisfying their appetites. If they can earn enough money to dress, eat, and play in high style, they think they are living “the good life”. But such things do not satisfy our deepest longings. In the end they leave us empty and dissatisfied.

Real life, according to Moses, comes from commitment to God, the one who created life itself.  It requires discipline, sacrifice, and hard work, and that’s why most people never find it.

We may think that it’s alright to be close to sin as long as we don’t participate. We say, “I won’t do anything wrong.” But being close to sin can hurt us as we become attracted and could finally give in. The only sure way to stay away from sin is to stay away!
