Below is the focus for tonight's time of prayer and reflection. Take a moment to look over these scriptures as we prepare our hearts:
🏃♂️ Physical Health
Honoring God with the bodies He has given us, believing in His strength and healing.
✨️1 Corinthians 6:19–20 — Your body is a temple of the Holy Spirit. You are not your own; you were bought at a price, so honor God with your body.
✨️Romans 12:1 — Offer your body as a living sacrifice, holy and pleasing to God, as an act of true worship.
✨️Proverbs 3:7–8 — Fear the Lord and turn from evil; this brings health to the body and nourishment to the bones.
✨️Matthew 8:17 — Jesus fulfilled Isaiah’s words: “He took up our infirmities and bore our diseases.”
🔥 Spiritual Health
Renewing our minds, feeding on His truth, and guarding our hearts.
✨️Romans 12:2 — Be transformed by the renewing of your mind so you can discern God’s good, pleasing, and perfect will.
✨️2 Timothy 2:15 — Do your best to present yourself to God as one approved, correctly handling the word of truth.
✨️Proverbs 4:20–23 — Keep God’s words in your heart, for they bring life and health; above all, guard your heart.
🕊️ Emotional Health
Walking in the joy, peace, and fruit of the Spirit, casting away fear and a crushed spirit.
✨️Proverbs 17:22 — A cheerful heart is good medicine, but a crushed spirit dries up the bones.
✨️Galatians 5:22–23 — The fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, and self-control.
✨️John 14:27 — Jesus gives peace that is unlike the world’s peace; do not let your hearts be troubled or afraid.
