MESSAGE EXCERPT MONDAY: Yesterday's message was entitled "Go...Win...Baptize...Teach". "The Great Commission commands us to go and win people to Christ. Though the words "great commission" are not found in the Bible, the teaching certainly is! Jesus Himself said to 'Go into all the world and preach the gospel to every creature, baptizing them in the name of the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit, and teaching them whatsoever I have commanded'. Why is it that we call it the Great Commission and then treat it like it is the piddlin' commission?"

UPCOMING EVENTS FRIDAY: We end our missions month this Sunday. Sunday evening we will wrap the month up with a missions dinner in the fellowship hall at 6:00 P.M. We are having a Mexican fiesta. Tacos, enchiladas, burritos etc. We will have testimonies and rejoice in what God is doing through missions.

MESSAGE EXCERPT MONDAY: We are in our missions month and yesterdays message was the time when Jesus multiplied five loaves of bread and two fishes to feed the multitude. They didn't have enough food to feed everyone. They needed a miracle. "We may say we do not have enough to sacrifice to give to missions. But, when we give what we have (like the young boy did with his lunch) God is able to multiply it and meet the need. They got their miracle that day. And we can see the miracle of world wide missions if we are willing to give and go."
