Come join us Saturday night for our Campfire Worship Service. Hotdogs will be served starting at 6:30pm. Worship begins at 7:00pm. Our Guest Speakers are Connie Jensen and Mary Fisk, Shop on State Board members. Enjoy S'mores following the worship. Bring your lawn chairs and enjoy food & fellowship.

Thanks to the generosity of all who attended our Ice Cream Social, St. John's WELCA was able to present a check for $2,214.61 to Northern Lights Alliance for the Homeless Shelters.

It's with heavy hearts we share the passing of Rev. Steven L. Ullestad, former bishop of the Northeastern Iowa Synod. Rev. Ullestad was elected in 1992 and served until 2020. Our thoughts and prayers are with the family and friends of Rev. Ullestad.

A visitation will take place on Thursday, July 16th from 4:00 - 6:00 p.m. at Dahl-Van Hove-Schoof Funeral Home in Cedar Falls. Funeral services will be held on Friday, July 17th from 10:00 - 11:00 a.m. at Bethlehem Lutheran Church in Cedar Falls. Below is a link for the obituary and details on service times.
