NOTE: This week begins our transition to 9AM Service‼️

Join us at 9AM this Sunday, May 31st as we hear Pastor Eric’s sermon, titled “The Trinity,” which is based on the following bible verses:

Genesis 1:1-2:4a
Matthew 28:16-20

The Trinity is a difficult theological concept for us to understand and articulate. Yet we experience the triune God as Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. The very begging of creation has the Spirit of God (wind/breath) present. It stirs something and creation comes into being. That Spirit enters in the clay and comes alive. We have the breath of God in us. That breath is still creating in us and around us. We are called to go out into the world through the triune God and “grow” disciples. Inviting people in through the water of new creation in the name of the Trinity. We then are to teach them. Teach them to cross barriers that keep people apart. Teach them to care for their bodies and souls.

Join us at 10am this Sunday, May 24th as we reflect on Pentecost and hear Pastor Eric’s sermon, titled “Spirit Unbounded,” which is based on the following bible verses:

Numbers 11:24-30
Acts 2:1-21

“Would that all” Numbers 11:29. Would that we had a statement to make, a stand to take. To advocated for justice and welcome the stranger. Moses wished that more people were working on behalf of what God was doing. It wasn’t supposed to be just about him. He was not diminished by sharing the Spirit, but it enhanced him and the community. “Would that all the Lord’s people” was a prayer answered at Pentecost. All people, young and old, male and female, even the marginalized (slaves and poor) have the Spirit and a truth to tell and a story to be heard. The Spirit is unbound and we are unbound so we can now receive that Spirit and learn to tell the truth with empathy in a world desperately in need of both.
