Outdoor Worship This Sunday!

We want to make sure everyone is aware that we have one service at 11:00 AM this Sunday. It is a holiday weekend so we are going to have our weekly morning worship service outdoors under the P.B.&J. Pavilion. There will be chairs set up but if you prefer to bring your own comfy chair, you are welcome to do so.

Note for all parents: All parents are to check their children in as usual inside the church. The nursery children will go to the nursery area and the older kids will be directed to their location.

This week, we’ll be looking at Galatians 5:22–23 and focusing on one powerful fruit of the Spirit: JOY.

What does it look like to have a joy that comes from the Spirit—not just from our circumstances? Come worship with us, dig into God’s Word, and discover the joy He offers us!

Come join us at Seymour Lake Park on Sunday, September 13, from 1:30–3:30 PM for an afternoon of pickleball, fun, and fellowship!

All ages and skill levels are welcome—from beginners to seasoned players. We’ll have friendly games, some more competitive play, and plenty of time to hang out, meet people, and cheer on the players.

Bring your paddle, water, and your best pickleball spirit! Not a player? Come watch and socialize!

This Sunday, we’re taking church outside for the holiday weekend! Drop off the kids in the building for childcare (ages 0-4) and SONshine Park (Grades K-5th). Join us at 11:00 AM under the pavilion for a special morning of worship, community, and hearing God's Word together.

Come out and join us for a beautiful night of worship, fellowship, and great music as we gather together to lift our voices to the Lord.

Seating: We’ll have white folding chairs available, but feel free to bring your own comfy camp chair!

A chance to share Scripture: Between worship songs, there will be an opportunity for anyone who would like to read a short passage of Scripture or share a favorite Bible verse. This is not an open-mic time, so please keep it to a brief passage or verse.

The final message in our “Giants Must Fall” series is Sunday!

This week, we’re looking at 1 Samuel 17:45–50, 55–58 and the familiar story of David and Goliath. But the ultimate point of the story isn’t simply that David was brave enough to face a giant.

It points us to a greater truth:

Jesus is our Champion.

When the giants in our lives seem bigger than we are, we don’t have to face them in our own strength. Our hope isn’t found in how strong, courageous, or capable we are—it’s found in the One who has already won the victory.

Come join us as we wrap up Giants Must Fall and discover what David’s victory points us toward: Jesus, our Champion!
