RELEASE Review…. This month we are learning JOY is found in JESUS, enhancing relationships with OTHERS, and this week, examined the perspective of YOURSELF. The enemy uses many tactics to give a distorted view of ourselves. God tells us otherwise! The Bible tells us we can be certain we are loved, because that’s who God is! We can also proclaim God delights in us, has compassion for us, wants to be near us, calls us his friend, and has high value on us. In many ways, beyond our understanding at times, God has the ability to restore, redeem, and reconstruct us into looking and representing Jesus more and more. Our choice is to receive the gift of Jesus through the ABC’s of becoming a believer;

A……ADMIT you’re a sinner
B……BELIEVE Jesus died on the cross for you and rose from the dead.
C…CONFESS Jesus as Lord and commit your life to him.

Did you just make the decision to accept Jesus? We congratulate and applaud you in making this prayer of salvation. Whether you did, or still figuring it out, the NOW Church invites you to come and venture into your next step of walking faithfully with Jesus. Some options you can take are:

RELEASE Review…… second week to joyFULL June was about OTHERS. In week one, we learned joy is rooted in JESUS. Having a personal relationship with Jesus changes everything and starts the foundation of joy. This week the message focused on another depth of joy by cooperating with OTHERS. There’s several different opinions, goals, work ethics, and other differences among the individuals we interact with each day. Complications arise as we try to work together in achieving objectives and goals. There’s tendencies we can get stuck on through various patterns of selfishness, carelessness, or not demonstrating compassion towards others. Collaborating on a vision, goal, and objectives allows the team to shine and develop greater effectiveness. This is challenging at times, but we are capable of wining the battle against the “joy suckers” we encounter with others. We can’t control others, however we can control ourselves. To obtain another level of joy we learned to become better for OTHERS by:

1-know everyone is designed differently
2-pray for your skills to be developed
3-wait for God’s timing to be revealed
4-show others a reflection of Jesus
5-a new 24 hour set starts everyday
