UMaine Chi Alpha

UMaine Chi Alpha spreading the Gospel. We host a weekly worship gathering, discipleship groups, a myriad of retreats, and mission trips to that end.

UMaine Chi Alpha is a movement of people striving relentlessly to discover what it means to follow Jesus through WORSHIP, FAMILY, and MISSION - a beautiful mix of people from every kind of background running one race.. Both our name and goal stem from Paul saying that we become “Christ’s Ambassadors” (or christou apostoloi in Greek) when we take on the identity of “Christian.” We shorten christou

apostoloi to the first two letters “Chi” and “Alpha,” and aim to see students reconciled to Christ in launch toward the university, marketplace, and world. We don't have it all together, but we are in it together! Large Group: Mondays, 7:30PM, Location: Bangor Room | Memorial Union
