October has many traditions. There’s post-season baseball, tailgating at football games, apple picking and, of course, Halloween. But most importantly, there is the Rosary.

Vivat Jesus

As Archbishop Fulton Sheen put it: “Unless there is a Good Friday in your life, there can be no Easter Sunday.”

Every single Knight should attend his parish's Liturgy.

We are called upon God to extend our love and concern to all – and especially to and for those who are less fortunate.

Since 1968, Cape Abilities has been providing care, compassion, and assistance on Cape Cod to adults, adolescents, and children with mental and physical disabilities, that they might learn the necessary skills to cope with the demands and challenges of everyday life. Through their many programs, they make a profound difference in the lives of those who are least able to help themselves.

Each year, the Knights of Columbus conducts a Charity Fund Drive (better known as the Tootsie Roll Drive) to raise funds to assist persons with intellectual disabilities, regardless of age, and to assist children with physical handicaps and who have not yet reached their 20th birthday. This year, across the state of Massachusetts, the Knights of Columbus Councils have raised more $151,000 solely for the Charity Fund to assist those with disabilities.

On December 20, 2017, the Knights of Columbus provided a $20,000 grant to Cape Abilities to purchase physiotherapeutic, sensory, aerobic, and occupational enhancement equipment for their multi-sensory room in their Eastham, Hyannis, and new Orleans locations – an effort which was spearheaded by members of St. Joan of Arc Knights of Columbus Council #3384 of Orleans.
