How far is too far when you're dating? Can Christian singles hook up without emotional consequences? Can you become too emotionally intimate before commitment? What about sleepovers, vacations, physical affection and other dating boundaries?

In Part 3 of S*x, Desire & Self-Control, Pastors Nick and Frannie have an honest conversation about hookups, emotional intimacy and practical dating boundaries from a biblical perspective.

The Power Working Within You / From Knowing What You Have to Living in His Power | Ephesians 3

What if the power you've been asking God for is already working within you?

Tonight, Pastor Nick continues our journey through Ephesians. Ephesians 1 tells us to OPEN OUR EYES and receive revelation of who we are, what we have, and the power available to those who believe. Ephesians 2 tells us to LOOK WHAT GRACE DID—we were dead, but God made us alive in Christ, saved us by grace, and recreated us for good works.

Now Ephesians 3 takes us deeper:

KNOW WHAT'S WORKING IN YOU.

Paul prays that believers would be strengthened with power through the Holy Spirit in their inner being, become rooted and grounded in Christ's love, be filled with the fullness of God, and understand that God can do exceedingly abundantly above all we ask or think according to the power working within us.
This is where grace, gratitude, holiness, revelation and power come together.

We aren't trying to earn God's acceptance. Grace has already brought us near.

We aren't trying to manufacture God's power. The Holy Spirit already lives within us.

Now we must learn to believe, receive, cooperate with, and walk in what God has already placed within us.
