Disneyland here we come (without the kids this time).

We haven't had a Disney vacation without the kids since, well, before we had kids. Let's do this!

The Disneyland Hotel stole my heart when I was there in October, so I am beyond excited to stay there this summer with my best friend!

Also, Chad's first trip to Disneyland, so we will see if he FINALLY likes It's a Small World! 😜

Want to know a Dollywood secret? 🤫

Gold and diamond season passholders for Dollywood can hop in the timesaver lines for select rides the first hour without having to purchase a timesaver. Example: if the park opens at 11:00, between 11:00 & 12:00 you can do this. Just hop in the timesaver line, show them your pass, and hop on the ride. You can get about 3-4 big rides in within that hour. We were able to ride the very first train of the day for Thunderhead and walked right on. 🎢

We spent our honeymoon at Walt Disney World during the Christmas season, and it just added to the magic! Who else misses Elsa lighting up the castle with the Christmas lights? ❄️

Also, you will not be able to see the gingerbread house at the Grand Floridian this year due to renovations. Bummer. Maybe next year.

I'll always honor the U.S. military and will teach my girls to have the same respect. I've been grateful to be able to visit two military bases in my lifetime: Fort Stewart in GA and Fort Irwin in CA. It definitely hits differently when you see how military families live everyday.
