Wait on the Lord: be of good courage, and He shall strengthen thine heart: wait, I say, on the Lord. Psalm 27:14

Good morning family,

I am so thankful for the strength of God! When I don't feel like I can go another step God rejuvenates, and restores my energy.

In Isaiah 40:29 it says:
He giveth power to the faint; and to them that have no might he increaseth strength.

Sometimes it seems like there's so much to contend with, that you just don't see an end in sight to it. When we have done all we know to do, we need to spend more time in prayer, and listen to God’s wisdom as He speaks thru His Word. We have to keep our inner man strong in the Word of God, listen for His voice, and not give up, and victory will be assured without. We have to declare and decree God's Promises that He has given us. When we trust in the Lord in difficult times, seeking His will and trusting His timing, He brings peace to our minds and hearts and renews our strength. We will soar high on wings like Eagles, we will run and not grow weary. Amen!

We place our confidence not in ourselves but in God. Dear family whatever situation we may find ourselves in, let us seek God and He will give us strength, and bring us out of it stronger.
God bless you all! You're in my prayers.

Isaiah 40:30-31 KJV
30 Even the youths shall faint and be weary, and the young men shall utterly fall;
31 But they that wait upon the Lord shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings as eagles; they shall run, and not be weary; and they shall walk, and not faint.

4 For we speak as messengers approved by God to be entrusted with the Good News. Our purpose is to please God, not people. He alone examines the motives of our hearts.
5 Never once did we try to win you with flattery, as you well know. And God is our witness that we were not pretending to be your friends just to get your money!
7 As apostles of Christ we certainly had a right to make some demands of you, but instead we were like children[a] among you. Or we were like a mother feeding and caring for her own children. 8 We loved you so much that we shared with you not only God’s Good News but our own lives, too.
11And you know that we treated each of you as a father treats his own children.
1 Thessalonians 2:4,5,7,8,11 NLT

Good morning family,
I was thinking about it being Father's day today. It’s such a wonderful time for families to come together and to love on and show appreciation to our Dad’s. Really, every day should be Mother’s and Father’s day. Not only to our natural mom's and dad’s but to our Heavenly Father who is number one in our lives.

I love these scriptures above where Paul is encouraging the Thessalonian church. He defends his character against critics and reminds the believers of his pure motives. Paul was a good example of a spiritual Father in the Bible. He was a spiritual Father, not only to Titus and Timothy but also to many churches that he helped to establish. He had a heart after God and he cared about the believers. He nurtured them, guided them and strengthened them in the word and he was led by the Holy Spirit. He loved them and treated them as a spiritual father would.

Paul wanted them/us to know the Lord, to have a relationship with Him. He wants us to experience the goodness of God in the land of the living. He wants us to know our true identity in Christ Jesus. I also want for all of us to fully know Him, to walk in Him; His love, mercy and grace that knows no bounds. I know there are a lot of spiritual Fathers reading this and I am thankful. That’s one thing this world needs right now are ones who will sacrifice their time to spread the gospel of the good news of Jesus Christ and to nurture and strengthen, to love. God bless you all! Happy Father’s day to all the Dad’s. Happy heavenly Father's Day to my dad Harvey Turnage Sr who was my spiritual Father and is still with me in spirit. I love you Pop!

Good morning Bethel family,

I love this prayer that Paul prayed over the believers in Ephesus. Paul wanted them to be empowered by the Holy Spirit in their inner being. He wanted them to grasp the richness and vastness of God’s love and to be filled with the fullness of God. I. too, want this for my life and family, for all of God’s Creation. To be Spiritually minded is life and peace. He gives us what money can't buy and the world can't give. He gives us His eternal life and peace.

So here is Paul’s prayer, but it is also my prayer for us all. I pray that our roots will grow down deep into God’s love and keep us strong. In 1 Corinthians 3:16 Paul said: “Know ye not that ye are the temple of God, and that the Spirit of God dwelleth in you?” Beloved, it is so wonderful to know our true identity in Christ Jesus and to know that we are loved and treasured beyond measure. We are a chosen generation, a royal priesthood, a holy nation… God bless you all! Love in Christ, Janet

When I think of all this, I fall to my knees and pray to the Father, the Creator of everything in heaven and on earth. I pray that from his glorious, unlimited resources he will empower you with inner strength through his Spirit. Then Christ will make his home in your hearts as you trust in him. Your roots will grow down into God’s love and keep you strong. And may you have the power to understand, as all God’s people should, how wide, how long, how high, and how deep his love is. May you experience the love of Christ, though it is too great to understand fully. Then you will be made complete with all the fullness of life and power that comes from God. Now all glory to God, who is able, through his mighty power at work within us, to accomplish infinitely more than we might ask or think. Glory to him in the church and in Christ Jesus through all generations forever and ever! Amen. Ephesians 3:14-21 NLT

Isaiah 44:3-4 KJV
3 For I will pour water upon him that is thirsty, and floods upon the dry ground: I will pour my Spirit upon thy seed, and my blessing upon thy offspring: 4 And they shall spring up as among the grass, as willows by the water courses.

John 7:37
In the last day, that great day of the feast, Jesus stood and cried, saying, If any man thirst, let him come unto me, and drink.

Joel 2:28
And it shall come to pass afterward, that I will pour out my Spirit upon all flesh; and your sons and your daughters shall prophesy, your old men shall dream dreams, your young men shall see visions.

Good evening Bethel family,
I was praying this morning and I heard the words of a song, “It’s beginning to rain, hear the voice of the Father. I will pour out my Spirit on your sons and your daughters.” There is something really beautiful taking place in the Spirit realm for whoever is thirsty and dry, they can come and drink and be filled.

In the scriptures above, Isaiah was prophesying to the people of Israel a promise of renewal, of great blessings. It was a message of comfort that restoration would come and the Holy Spirit would be poured out, not just on them, but also on the generations to come. He said I will deliberately and generously pour out a gusher of life-giving sustenance upon all who are thirsty for more of Him. That they would be filled to over-flowing. In John 7 Jesus is inviting any man that is thirsty to come and drink, to be filled with His Spirit. It's an invitation to come to Him in your time of need. Jesus died for the sins of the whole world. He loves every man, woman and child. He has what we have need of. Bring your burdens to the Lord and leave them there. Give it all to Him and He will make a way where there doesn't seem to be a way. He is our way-maker.

The prophesy in Joel 2:28 was manifested on the day of Pentecost. In Acts 2:16 Peter was talking about the Holy Spirit being poured out upon all flesh. He said: But this is that which was spoken of by the prophet Joel.

Beloved, if you’re thirsty and dry, if you need a touch from the Lord, if you need a healing, as the song goes, " just lift your hands to the sky, it’s beginning to rain". He will fill you to over-flowing and you will thirst no more. He’s our life-giver, our rain-maker, our joy-bringer, our healer and I love the Lord with all my heart. I pray that you all have great joy and shalom peace. God bless you abundantly!
